Sleepy Hollow Offers New Track Design
Round # 4 of the Ultimate MX Series comes to Sleepy Hollow on Memorial Day Weekend. With it comes fantastic weather and the faithful crowd that has begun to follow this series in 2009. To the crowds delight, Sleepy did a complete track redesign prior to this race and I believe it was enjoyed by all. They Lined The Fences
Wow, we had another great weekend of racing action. This time around we landed at Round # 4 of the MDRA Race Series from Happy Ramblers. It was another big turnout with close to 600 entries on the day. Check both www.jimbullphoto.com and www.edwardbrownphoto.com in the coming days to view all of the racing action. Different Strokes for Different Folks!!
So they say, Almond Joys Got Nuts - Mounds Don't. Round # 3 brought us to the Dutchmen MX Park and I'd say it would have to qualify as the knarliest round of the series. I know, slow signup and scoring, too wet, too much dust. The ruts were too deep and we got home way too late. I'd also say that this is what makes a series great, hey we could all stay home and watch baseball, not ! Everybody likes something different, if your goals are to excel at this sport they call motocross, then Sundays conditions offered the perfect opportunity. If you're looking to have a great time at the track on the weekends, then this weekend might not have been for you. Neither side is right and neither side is wrong, just two different views about what we do. Personally I liked it, adversity is what makes life great, but hey thats easy for me to say standing behind the camera. See you at Sleepy!!
